We offer several options:
Live Review Course: Instructor-led and delivered via traditional or virtual classroom.
Online Review Course: a self study option.
Pre-course study material will take 200-300 hours to complete. Classroom instruction provides learners with a comprehensive review of the CFP Board's topic list. It covers problems and solutions for all topics in the exam and presents relevant case studies. This winning combination of classroom instruction and quality study material is an excellent way to best prepare learners to pass the exam the first time!

Our Live Review Course is offered in traditional and virtual classrooms. Students receive an outstanding learning experience with all of our programs.
Traditional Classroom
Kaplan Financial is pleased to offer the industry's leading Live Review Course in more than 30 classes in 19 states across the country.
Five-Day Review: This exam preparation course is an intensive program consisting of 38 hours of instruction conducted over Wednesdays through Sundays. Tuition is $925 plus textbooks.
Six-Day Review: This exam preparation course is an intensive program consisting of 48 hours of instruction conducted over two (non consecutive) weekends, Friday through Sunday. Tuition is $990 plus textbooks.
Virtual Classroom Program
Our Virtual Review is an instructor-led, Web-based program that provides all the benefits of a classroom review from the convenience of the learner's home or office. This program format is a great option for those who have access to the Web and prefer not to incur the expense of travel. It is an intensive program consisting of 48 hours of instruction conducted over 17 three-hour sessions held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays or 10 five-hour sessions held Monday through Thursday. Learners receive real-time interaction with the instructor and students and access to a recorded playback option. Playbacks remain active until the first day of the CFP® Certification Examination. Online Review Course
This course is designed for individuals who wish to prepare for the CFP® Certification Examination. For students who have completed Kaplan University's Certificate in Financial Planning, this course provides an extensive review of the concepts covered in our six-course program. This self-study option proceeds through the topics listed by the CFP Board, beginning with a detailed outline of each topic to highlight key aspects of the material and concluding with review questions that will help you assess your mastery of each topic. The course also includes a 300-item simulation that can be used to prepare for the actual examination. For more information, click here. Tuition is $625 per student.
Who should register?
- Individuals who have successfully completed a CFP-Board Registered Program.

Individuals who intend to challenge the CFP® Certification Examination and have one or more designations, including CPA, CFA®, CLU, ChFC, JD or Ph.D in Business or Economics.

Kaplan Financial is so confident that our review students will pass the exam after taking our Live Review; we guarantee your success. If you do not pass the CFP® Certification Examination after attending a Kaplan Financial Live Review you are eligible to receive free tuition for a review within a one-year period of time (three exam cycles).
To be eligible you must:
- Attend at least 80% of the review class time.

Fax or email your Official Score Report for the CFP® Certification
Examination to the Enrollment Advisor Team within 3 weeks of
receiving it from the Board. All grades provided are absolutely
confidential.

Complete a new registration form indicating when/where you
would like to take your free review.
The free tuition includes in-class materials, but does not include the cost of the required textbooks, (Volumes I-VIII) for the Kaplan Review for the CFP® Certification Examination. In the event a student needs to take additional retakes beyond the first free repeat they may for the reduced tuition fee of $300.
